This review is from: Vitamix Accelerator/Tamper Tool (Kitchen) This is the pusher for the Vitamix blender. It is identical to the one that came originally with the Vitamix. Our Vitamix is used by many volunteer cooks whose skills vary. If you push down hard on the tamper, the end can be shredded by the blade. Use reasonable pressure. However, it was not as all powerful as I had expected after reading others' reviews -- be sure to place the more liquidy/easily blendable things into the Vitamix first and you'll be good to go. Also, this product comes WITH the Vitamix tamper -- you don't have to buy one separately, which I was not aware of.
