Product Description
A commercially inspired kitchen appliance, offering you the control and all of the tools. Simple soups can often be hard to make, as stick mixers are notoriously clunky to hold and suffer from excessive suction, drawing the mixer to the base of the bowl or pot. The Control Grip™ incorporates an ergonomic trigger grip, which is easily engaged with a very natural hand position. Control is further enhanced with a reduced suction blade and leg design. This model also incorporates a stainless steel shaft, 25oz chopper bowl, 42oz jug, and a whisk attachment. You gain control over your stick mixer, rather than it having control over you.
- Bell shaped base, revolutionary shape plus internal ribbing reduces the suction for greater control and efficient blending
- Ergonomic pistol-like control grip with trigger operation
- 8" immersion depth for large quantities or tall pots
- Adjustable speed
- Non-scratch base to prevent scratching pots

Immersion Blender (Kitchen) I had a Kitchenaid immersion blender and it was great until it broke. I ended up buying the Breville and I'm glad I did. It works great! He has a lot of neat attachments that go along with it and it's well worth the price. I also have a juicer from Breville and it's the best juicer I've ever owned! I also love my kitchen aid products but I wanted to try something different and I'm very pleased with the Breville products. 7 of 7 people found the following review helpful: By Clara Barton "Madcity RN" (Madison, WI) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: The Breville Control Grip? Immersion Blender (Kitchen) I am an avid soup maker. I loathe using my small food processer to get the right texture...it's messy and time consuming, and I usually end up burned.LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this immersion blender! I blended butternut squash soup right in the pot in a jiffy! I got the right texture and everything. I was a little leary about how small and convenient this is, but apparently great things come in compact sizes!!! The only downside is that I think it may have taken only a little longer to puree than a food processor would, but hey, a couple minutes for less dishes and ease of use I'm willing to sacrifice a few minutes of my time! I haven't tried it's other features, but I'm looking forward to it, as we love making fruit and yogurt smoothies too! 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful: Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: The Breville Control Grip? Immersion Blender (Kitchen) I purchased this for my wife, she uses an immersion blender almost everyday. She had the Cuisinart one, but it broke recently. It was great and did the job, but i wanted something a bit better and higher end. I really liked the variable speed and the Breville name. The only issue is that she has very small hands, and she finds it difficult to release the mixer from the unit. You have to press REALLY hard and she struggles. We hope that, with continued use, it will be easier. But it is a great product overall. I would reccommend to others. |
